The Gulfside Trail is a great way to get there, but be aware that the path is almost nonstop boulders which, if you can't step quickly and lightly over them, turn a 5 hour walk into a 8 hour nightmare
Beautiful views on a clear day. The weather is much different at the summit than the base. Very windy and cold bring a hoodie. A must see if passing through the region. Allow 3 hours to enjoy the trip
We went on perfect weather conditions. It took us 2h50 to climb up by Lion's head. After a 40min break, we went down by Tuckerman's ravine in 2h10, for a total of 5h40. I recommend the same trails!!!
Bizarre hiking experience to hike a giant mountain and then wind up at a summit flooded with tourists and a gift shop. View, when you can see it, can't be beat.
